THE HYPNOS

For my ninth module at university, I was tasked with designing the executive suite and reception area of a brand new five-star hotel in London. It was important that I considered sustainable design solutions, placing emphasis on regeneration and renewal. 

The client requested that the hotel capture and reimagine the hotel experience by encouraging a sense of community between the guests and the local area. The client also requested the hotel design to be sympathetic to the building's existing features. The building used as reference was 10 Lancaster Gate in London, a mid-19th century townhouse originally converted into a hotel in the 1930s.
