For my final project, I was required to design a 500sqm-minimum space from start to finish. I chose to design a 6 bedroomed house in Oxshott, Surrey, for a family of five - Josie and Miles Pinnock, their twin boys Harvey and Freddie, and their youngest Lily. I wrote the brief in which the family requested a warm, cosy and richly coloured home with plenty of antique furniture, textured soft furnishings, bespoke joinery, and brass hardware. Curtains and Roman blinds adorn the windows, Axminster carpets and Broadleaf timber grace the floors, and hand-woven sisal wallpaper envelopes the reception hall and landing walls.
